We are seeking an Azure AI Engineer for a short-term contract spanning 2 to 3 weeks. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop a Microsoft Teams-based front-end interface connecting users to OpenAI Azure Services. This role involves creating a user-friendly experience for interacting with AI models, initially focusing on GPT 3.5 with the potential for transitioning to GPT 4 in the future. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure AI services and proficiency in JavaScript or Python.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure AI Solution Development:
Utilize Azure AI services and technologies to design and develop the chatbot's AI capabilities.
Ensure a seamless integration with the Microsoft Teams platform.
Implement features required for V1.0 and prepare for a smooth transition to V2.0, which will support document uploading and chat history.
User Interaction Support:
Collaborate with the client's team to enable users to make requests, share commands, and queries, and copy-paste text within individual sessions.
Ensure user data is deleted post-session, with no long-term storage.
Query Support:
Configure and fine-tune Azure AI services to support various types of queries, including data extraction, text reformulation, translation, summarization, content generation, and question-answering.
Technical Considerations:
Work with virtual agents and other Azure components as necessary.
Leverage Azure services like Forms Recognition, Cognitive Search, Vector DBs, and Data Lakes.
Collaborate with the development team on front-end interface implementation, which may involve JavaScript or Python, based on project requirements.
Prepare for potential future system connectivity, although it is not required for this short-term contract.
Restrictions and Compliance:
Strictly adhere to using Microsoft components, including Azure services and functions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage potential operational costs arising from Azure components, including licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Azure AI solution development and integration.
Proficiency in configuring and working with Azure AI services and technologies.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams integration and chatbot development is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and teams.
