Support systems that fuel the global financial markets
• Work as part of the operations engineering group to provide SRE functions across multiple application suites
• Work closely with product owners, and technology partners to understand existing systems and support them
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues within the defined SLA.
• Drive cloud migrations, adoptions or product modernizations for AWS bound workloads.
• Design & develop solutions that are highly available, scalable, fault-tolerant, reliable, self healing, and maintain tools to automate operational processes
• Provide engineering solutions for operations problems, develop smart detection capable of predicting system stress & auto-correct through metrics analysis and remediation strategies
• Build single pane view dashboards that provides quality insight into systems health in terms of overall health, transaction, latency, throughput, load and reliability score
• Proactively plan, scale, and improve by driving capacity planning, instrumentation, and performance analysis to meet the product goals, SLA & SLO
• Grow and improve your skills by working on enterprise-level products and new technologies
What we’re looking for:
Basic Qualifications:
• 7+ years of system & solutions engineering, software development, or system operations background with 3+ years of work experience working as a Systems Engineer, DevOps, and/or SRE Roles.
• Experience automating infrastructure, testing, and deployments using tools like Terraform, CFT with Ansible, Rundeck, Autosys, Jenkins, CircleCI & other industry-recognized tools to deliver Infrastructure as Code
• Experience in working with the Rundeck tool on setup and deployment, must have hands-on implementations of various Rundeck automations, and In-depth knowledge of Rundeck Integration with various = tools
• Experience in Configuring AutoSys Workload Automation and managing Job Scheduler, Event Server, and Application Server
• Experience in cloud infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data.
• Experience with containers, such as with Kubernetes, Container, Docker, or any OCI runtimes.
• Certified Cloud Professional (AWS Solutions Architects, DevOps, System)
• Experience with 2 or more scripting languages such as python, Perl, Unix shell, PowerShell, awk, etc...
• Experience with a variety of open-source databases (MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Cassandra, Couchbase, Oracle Coherence, etc.)
• Experience troubleshooting networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTPS/TLS/Websockets, Multicast and Broadcast messaging
• Experience with scalable networking technologies, including Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, App acceleration, Load Balancers, DNS, virtual private networks and their application in PaaS and IaaS technologies
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals (e.g., filesystems, system calls), and with networking (e.g., routing, ESDN) or cloud systems
• Experience in Performance tuning OS (Linux & Wintel), JVM, .NetCore VM
• Experience in design service APIs using APIGateways, creating, developing and integrating infrastructure, OpenShift, Service Mesh etc
• Relevant work experience or familiarity with any Object Oriented Programming languages or web technology langs such as Python, Java,C, C++, Golang, .Net C#, JavaScript, or similar Programming languages
• Experience with Messaging
• Experience with DevOps engineering or SRE
• Experience with monitoring and observability such as with Datadog, AppDynamics, ELK, Splunk or like solutions
• Experience using source control (Git, GitHub) and feature branching strategies
