ServiceNow SAM Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer/Consultant with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in delivering ServiceNow implementations, including coding, testing, and maintenance. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in SAM Pro (Software Asset Management) and strong knowledge of ITAM, SAM, and HAM modules. Expertise in web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, APIs, Web Services), integrations, and core ServiceNow functionalities is essential. The role requires ServiceNow certifications (CSA and CIS–ITSM/Discovery), excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail. Knowledge of scripting and web services in ServiceNow is a plus.

 

Job Description

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in delivering ServiceNow implementations (coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting changes) in the application.

Minimum 2 year of experience in SAM Pro (Software Asset Management) lifecycle is a must.

Good Knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM/SAM/HAM module

Experience of Web Services, APIs, Database-level integrations

Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) and working in a SaaS environment Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies.

Good Knowledge of ServiceNow Core functionality

Strong customer service and excellent verbal/written communication

Excellent attention to details, ability to multitask, and effective time management skills

Understand full application lifecycle

ServiceNow Certifications: Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and CIS - ITSM/Discovery

Good to have knowledge such as scripting in HTML, JS, webservices in ServiceNow will be an added advantage.
