SAP PMO Support

Overview

The SAP PMO Support professional will oversee governance, coordination, and delivery management activities across SAP projects. The role ensures adherence to project management standards, alignment with strategic goals, and consistent reporting to stakeholders. The consultant will collaborate closely with project managers, functional leads, and cross-functional teams to drive visibility, control, and accountability within the SAP program landscape.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the SAP Program Management Office (PMO) in day-to-day governance and coordination activities.

  • Oversee program schedules, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables across SAP projects.

  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, external vendors, and leadership stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with PMO frameworks, methodologies, and quality assurance standards.

  • Track project status, risks, and issues, providing regular updates and escalation where required.

  • Consolidate reports and dashboards on project performance, KPIs, and financials.

  • Coordinate change management activities, including impact analysis and documentation control.

  • Maintain central documentation repositories for project plans, SOWs, and governance records.

  • Support resource allocation planning and cost tracking within SAP programs.

  • Drive continuous improvement in PMO processes and governance practices.


Requirements

  • 12 – 20 years of overall experience, with strong exposure to SAP program or project governance.

  • Proven experience in large-scale SAP implementations, rollouts, or transformation programs.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.

  • Experience using PMO tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, ServiceNow PPM).

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • PMP / PRINCE2 / SAP Activate certification preferred.
