SAP PP Functional Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Functional Consultant to support end-to-end production planning, configuration, and integration activities within the SAP ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP PP processes aligned with manufacturing and supply chain operations across diverse industries.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP PP.

  • Configure and customize SAP PP modules including BOM, Routing, Work Centers, MRP, and Production Orders.

  • Integrate PP with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, QM, and PM.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business process mapping and system functionality.

  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements.

  • Conduct end-user training and prepare functional documentation.

  • Participate in testing cycles — unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and quality assurance processes.


Requirements

  • 12–20 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in SAP PP.

  • Strong understanding of production planning, capacity planning, shop floor control, and demand management.

  • Proven experience in at least two full-cycle SAP PP implementations.

  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA environments preferred.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
