Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP RAR processes, hands-on experience in both implementation and support environments, and strong functional understanding of revenue recognition, finance, and integrations with SD and MM modules. The candidate should be adept at working in Agile environments and collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support SAP S/4 HANA RAR functionality including setting up criterions for Sales Orders, Exclusion Rules, Data Validation, Firm Windows, and Pricing Conditions.

  • Implement and maintain standalone selling price determinations and revenue recognition processes.

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure accurate RAR configurations aligned with accounting standards (IFRS 15 / ASC 606).

  • Integrate RAR with other SAP modules including FI/CO, SD, and MM.

  • Lead or support end-to-end implementation and enhancement projects in S/4 HANA or ECC environments.

  • Manage custom developments, enhancements, and third-party/non-SAP interfaces.

  • Participate in Agile sprints, performing requirement gathering, testing, and deployment activities.

  • Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and user training.

  • Document functional specifications and work closely with technical developers for solution delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6 – 12 years overall, with at least 6 years in SAP S/4 HANA RAR.

  • Education: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

  • Location: PAN India (Remote/Onsite as required).

  • Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred.

  • Proven experience in both implementation and support of SAP RAR solutions.

  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition concepts and finance integration.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
